Three Types of Gyms: Which Is Right For You?

As towns and villages reopen and life slowly returns to “normal”.

Life as we know it is not yet possible. Many people find themselves in one of two situations:

You are concerned about returning to your former gym for safety and hygiene reasons; or;

You’re not exercising, and this pandemic is showing you how important it is to start focusing on your health and fitness.

Although many states exclude “gyms” as a broad category, not all gyms are created equal. There are three main types of gyms to consider when considering different fitness facilities.

Here’s what they all offer and how to decide which type is best for you.

Globo gym

These are large gyms that operate as branches or franchises. Consider places like Planet Fitness, Gold’s Gym or nearby. Click here https://topprocare.com/ ¬†for more guide.

This gym operates with large-scale models. They get more members than they can handle. Based on the assumption that many people will pay but not show up

And they’re usually right. The cost is usually low ($10-40/month) and this is just the cost of accessing the zone. These are often long contracts that are almost impossible to get out of. They guarantee your money for the duration of the contract. Click here for details Three Types of Gyms: Which Is Right For You?

Inside you will find a treadmill. An elliptical machine step ladder and an endless cycle of weight machines. Some weights too. No help or training. When you come in and have to organize your own workouts and decide what to do that day.

Although some of these gyms may have group classes, these gyms are usually large and will be up to your elbows. Classes are fast-paced and no individual corrections or attention are offered by the instructor.

Who it’s for: Anyone who exercises and is intrinsically motivated and doesn’t need guidance. Help or great responsibility

Who it’s not for: People who are just starting to exercise or who need help with what to do and how to do it.

training camp

These gyms have a slightly smaller square footage. Consider companies like Orange Theory, Burn Boot Camp, and Fit Body Boot Camp with higher participation rates.

This type of gym uses a model that is slightly smaller than Gym Globo. They will get a large number of members. But not high power

This gym is more expensive than Globo Gyms. ($99-199/month) They often have an introductory offer of free access at the beginning to get you started.

Getting started with these tools is a fairly simple process. And if you join, you can jump right into the class. A common complaint in these types of gyms is that the class is too big. or insufficient personal attention to members’ needs and goals

Some of these types of gyms sell branded supplements. But most of these places don’t offer individual nutrition training programs.

In general, these types of gyms are very popular and they are good at getting people to make the changes that you might have to switch from Globe Gym to get around.

Who it’s for: Anyone looking for a more personalized experience and scheduling accountability. Even if you don’t get “coaching”, you are encouraged. And maybe you know other people. Your class is not “open access” so you won’t be able to go on your own schedule. You must attend pre-arranged classes.

Not for: Anyone looking for a coaching technique. Do you want to lift heavier weights or watch TV while walking on the treadmill?
